hahh here are a list of questionable “theories” XD
1) If you can call someone you love a “dear” can you call them a moose?
2) Why is that in the bearenstein bears, the main character’s names are “brother, sister, papa and mama”, when their friends names are like Liz and Ferdy?
3) If you soda that is says it contains only 1 calorie, and you pour it into 4 cups, does that mean that each cup has .25 calories?
4) Why is that alpaca fur sells more than llama’s when their practically the same thing?
5) Why is October not the 8th month and September not the 7nth?
6) how do people think of shows about singing purple dinosaur that goes on adventures with young children?
Cant think of more at the moment.

January and February were at first not considered months until Numa Pompilius made them months (previously winter was so inconsequential the romans they just gave it december) so there were only ten motnhs. Even after they were made months, they were at the end for a while, after december.

the months of a year used to start with march in the roman calendar or something like that. So March was the 1st month, then april and so on. So if you count it like that, then october would be the 8th month
